* For those students who wish to allow educational records to be disclosed and/or discussed with their parent or guardian (or any third party), a Release of Education Records Form must be completed and submitted to the Office of the University Registrar or to the Office of the Dean of Students. Students can find this form on the MyÂ鶹AV portal under Student Resources. Any questions can be relayed to the Registrars Office.

We have created a closed group on Facebook to connect parents and family members of incoming and current students. This is a great opportunity for parents and family members to interact, talk about the experiences of their students, and see what is happening on campus.
The group also includes various staff members from across campus who can serve as a resource and answer questions.

FAQInterpreter Request
Our goal is to make students and families feel welcome and comfortable when they come to the University of New Haven. To request a non-English language or ESL interpreter for a tour, meeting on campus, or information session, please contact us at (203) 932-7432 at least one week in advance to make arrangements. We will do our best to connect you with an interpreter from our large list of student, faculty and staff volunteers.

Learn moreThe University of New Haven has one of the finest comprehensive athletic programs in the Northeast Region, with a rich history and tradition of advancing to both conference and NCAA postseason tournament play. We have been a proud member of NCAA Division II since the early 1980's and continued the D-II tradition by joining the prestigious Northeast-10 Conference during the 2008-09 season. Â鶹AV student-athletes have represented the University of New Haven with class and dignity throughout the Department of Athletics' long history, producing Hall of Fame coaches and student-athletes that have gone on to professional careers as players, coaches and administrators. Â鶹AVs have earned All-America awards for their hard work on the playing fields and Academic All-America honors for their persistence in the classroom.
Campus Recreation
You don’t have to be a superstar athlete to participate with Â鶹AVREC. We have club sports, intramural sports, programs, and classes for every skill and interest level!
Beckerman Recreation Center
The $15.5 million Beckerman Center at the University of New Haven is a comprehensive 56,500 square-foot Student Recreation Center that includes Two Multi-Purpose Group Fitness Studios, Weight Room and Fitness Center (6,000 square-feet), Two Racquetball Courts, Two Hardwood Activity Courts (with capabilities for basketball, volleyball, & badminton), Multi-Activity Court (with capabilities for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, floor/roller hockey, and various other activities), Jogging Track (1/10 of a mile), NRgize Juice Bar, Men’s, Women’s and Individual Use Locker Rooms.
