University of New Haven to Announce New Strategic Partnership with Saudi Arabia During Crown Prince’s U.S. Visit
The announcement of the University’s new collaboration with Takamol Holding, a government-operated company affiliated with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, will take place during the Crown Prince's visit to the United States that will include a U.S.-Saudi investment summit in Washington, D.C.

Coinciding with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to the United States, the University of New Haven will formalize a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with – a government-operated company affiliated with Saudi Arabia’s – that develops and delivers workforce and capability-building solutions to support the country’s labor market and its national economic transformation.
Signed by Dr. Jens Frederiksen, president of the University of New Haven, and Dr. Abdullah AlTuwaijri, Vice President of Takamol’s Skills Unit, the agreement establishes a strategic collaboration to advance leadership and workforce development initiatives in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s .
As part of the MoU, the University of New Haven will work with Takamol to design and deliver executive education and professional development programs for leaders and managers in key sectors of the Saudi economy. These programs will combine international best practices with locally relevant insights, focusing on leadership, strategic management, innovation, and digital transformation.
Speaking at the signing, Dr. Jens Frederiksen commented, “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to developing future-ready leaders who can drive innovation and organizational excellence. The University of New Haven is proud to support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives by contributing to the growth of its human capital.”
The partnership builds on the University of New Haven’s long-standing experience in delivering executive education in the Kingdom and underscores its expanding role in global leadership development and applied learning.
Last month, the University announced it was the first institution in the world to receive approval from the Saudi government to open an international branch campus in Riyadh. The University will launch a Pre-University Program in Riyadh in January.
The University of New Haven - Riyadh is pending approval by the New England Commission of Higher Education.
